I purchased a Samsung wireless charger for my X and noticed that the phone shows 100% charged but the status indicator light on the charger remains blue indicating still charging. I believe its supposed to turn green when the phone is fully charged. Its possible it charges beyond 100% and eventually switches the charger off. Just checking to see if anyone else experienced this behavior.

One review I saw indicated that the status light on the Samsung charger only works when charging Samsung phones. When charging iPhones or other non Samsung android phones the light stays blue.

It seems to be common and apparently other chargers behave the same way. I was just concerned about overcharging the phone. I have a charger coming in tomorrow and it will probably do the same thing. Thanks for your reply.

I received a Choetech wireless charger yesterday that works exactly the same as the Samsung. The Choetech document clearly states that the phone needs to send "fully charged" signal to the charger in order for the charger to stop charging and change status. It does say that failure to change status is the fault of the phone and not the charger. (this is for an iphone X)

This has me worried as I just picked up a samsung convertible charger yesterday and noticed the light doesnt change. I dont want the charger to keep charging the phone if its already at 100%.

The phone makes that decision, it will basically slow down the charging as needed and stop when it's not needed (and start again when needed).
