Wireless charging - hot iPhone

I have just purchased wireless fast charger ( Titan Power ) For my iPhone Se.
it works well, but the charger and iPhone gets very hot.

Is this damaging for the battery in the long term?
as far as I know, heat is bad for batteries!?

It is convenient to use, but if the life of the battery is shortened, I wont use it
Any advice are welcome.

Does it get hot or warm. And if it gets warm does it cool off? Fast charging will get your iPhone warm shouldn’t be hot but not for a long period of time then it trickle charges.

The phone should get slightly warm. It should not get very hot and stay hot for a while after charging.

I will notice how it reacts: warm vs hot.
Have only changed once.

What does “trickle charge” mean?

What I mean by trickle charge is it charges pretty fast up to a certain % then slows down considerably after.

For instance when I charge my iPhone 12 with the Apple 20w it gets slightly warm on and off up to 80%. Then takes forever after.
