Wireless / Expansion slots

Ok...these SORTA look like PCMCIA slots like on a PC laptop...are they?

Im lookin gto get a wireless card for my new laptop and dont know exactly what to buy....

Yes use google to find the specs. your machine.

Lucent made a good card, and as I remember, made the original Airport cards.

i have the specs of my machine....and it says it has two type II slots....just confirming that these are pcmcia slots really....=]

Now jsut finding something compatible with the OS i have on there is more challenging.....8.6....grrrr

Type 2= PCMCIA

Look on ebay for WN825G PCMCIA card.

Upgrade to at least os 9- but hey, I know people that hate to upgrade.

Use the search function on these forums.

For instnace .

Also group your requests if they are simular.

ok cool...jsut getting use to this forum community...=]

The battery life is perfect....i get three solid hours of working out of it with no questions asked. I picked it up (with the 333Mhz imac in the sig too) for just over $100. not a scratch on it....not even a dead pixel....=D
