I have my mini plugged into a router, should I turn off the wifi on the mini?

Seems a bit redundant leaving it turned on? Plus, one less item in your menubar

Leave WiFi on if you use Location Services (specifically Maps, Find My Mac). OS X Location Services will not function if wireless networking is turned off on your Mac.

Otherwise, go ahead and shut it off.

Also to use AirDrop you need to keep it on. At least I keep it on just because of that reason.
