Ok, I've been skimming these threads for a bit now. I just got my first mac. Its an SR MBP 2.2Ghz 160 GB harddrive. About 2-3 times a day I find myself with this shadow curtain descending on my mac and forcing me to restart. I have a copy of the error, and I think its an issue with the wireless.
Basically, when I run any internet application (ichat, gmail notifier, or safari) i find myself disconnected about every 10 minutes or so. It's not too bad, but it's getting extremely frustrating and I'm really not sure what to do about it.
Another thing I noticed: When it gets really bad and I'm forced to restart, I'm running more programs, probably putting strain on the Mac. I used iChat, iCal and iTunes today and apparently that overworks this top-of-line technology.
Should I go get it checked out at the apple store?
Is there a quick fix for my problem, or do I just have to suffer?
PS: I have no screen, keyboard, or any other problems with the mac so far... so I fear an exchange based on what I've heard on other threads.
Please help.
