I installed windoz 7 using boot camp and found the wireless system and therefore my Logitech wireless keyboard isn't initialised until after the startup sound thereby eliminating the possibility of using it for option (alt) key selecting the os to start.
So I dragged out the wired full length Apple keyboard from my now not used eMac and am using it with no problems.
I guess I will need to bite the bullet and get a new bluetooth Apple keyboard but find it difficult to reconcile the cost especially considering the Logitech works beautifully otherwise and costs $70 less.
Any more thoughts on this issue out there?

The free (but more time-consuming) alternative would be to boot into OS X, then reboot into Windows using System Preferences-->Startup Disk (there's also a Startup Disk utility in Control Panel for when you want to boot back into OS X from Windows).

FAYI, I bought a bluetooth Apple keyboard and smart mouse in the end. Awesome to use although far too expensive.
