Hello all,

I have a small office with several Apple computers with wireless magic mice and keyboards. We are running Windows 7 on these computers. It is a dental office, so x-rays are taken in some of the rooms that have these mice and keyboards. I have had them for about 5 years without any major problems.

In the past certain rooms mouse and keyboards would lose the connection between the mouse/keyboard and computer. The only way to get it to reconnect would be to restart the computer. This would happen once every several months on different computers. I had asked our IT company about it, and they just said "I don't really know why it's doing that, it might be the x-rays causing interference" but didn't really have a solution other than getting a wired keyboard/mouse setup.

Now, there are two computers that lose connection with the mouse and keyboard at least twice a week. I know that the x-ray can cause interference and cause the connection loss between the mouse and keyboard, but is there a reason that it wasn't an issue before, and now it constantly is disconnecting?

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thank you!

Erin
