I was wondering... I have a 2.0 GHz Macbook Pro CD. Which doesn't have 802.11n. Will I be able to switch out the Airport Card as in previous models or is it something that is part of a new Intel chipset?

The main issue you'll run into is that you don't have enough antennas to run N. Last I heard, there are three antennas in the computers for it...

I am guessing that we will see an expresscard for the MacBook Pro which will come with an external antenna if you want that sticking out. Also I am sure some-one will release an USB version.

how about a card for us PPC users? Atleast ours is user-replaceable. I dropped 3 grand on a G5 in october 2005, and 2 grand on a PowerBook in 2004...I want to purchase a new N card for these...(an internal card)

EDIT: YEEEEEEEEEEEEEs just realized my status has been upgraded from n00b to MEMBER!

I doubt that they'll make an Airport card for our computers that can support N. It would've been released along with the new Airport base stations and the AppleTV. No such luck for us. But I don't expect anything better. Our computers are so far behind, it's probably not even worth it...

I wouldn't call my Quad G5 far behind.....
But I would love an external USB 2 802.11n adapter.
