So, i re-installed windows on to my MacPro and for some reason i am unable to hook up wirelessly. The wireless card in the pro seems to be functioning, but i can't even search for wireless networks. i don't even see my wired connection in the list. i know i'm doing something wrong but not sure what that is. Anybody have any ideas.

Yup, doesn't really do anything. I wonder if some files from XP didn't get copied properly.

As a general rule, unless all files are cleanly copied during XP installation, Windows won't properly install. So if you had no Windows errors during the installation, they were more than probably cleanly installed.

Ask yourself a few questions:

1) Was your copy of XP complete? Did it contain Service Pack 2?
2) Did you remember to install the latest Boot Camp drivers after installing XP?
3) Did you remember to update XP fully after installing the Boot Camp drivers? You might have to use a wired comnnection to update Windows before Windows can recognize the wireless card. But from what I remember, this has not been the case since the first update to BootCamp. NOTE that XP does not contain the necessary wireless drivers for Apples on its distribution disks.

Try Vista. Wireless works great on Apples with Vista installed, right out of the box.
