Wireless network setup (multiple access points)

Good evening to all. I'd like to mention I hit up google and the Apple knowledge base but have not been able to find an answer to my question so far.

Currently, my network is setup as such:

My modem is connected into a Monoprice 9918 wireless router, with it's wireless currently turned off. The 9918 is plugged through ethernet to a Time capsule on one end of the house, and an Airport Express on the other end. Both the Time Capsule and Airport Express are broadcasting the same SSID with the same security.

I'd like to add some more strength and coverage to my wireless signal. With that in mind, I'd like to have the 9918 setup so as to do the same thing both my TC and AE are doing, creating a wireless network in bridge mode.

Would creating a wireless network with the same SSID, security and passcode on the 9918 result in doing just that, or is the setup more involved?

Any pointers would be much appreciated!

Some of the key points: make sure your wireless access points are on different channels, manually set the IP addresses on your two extra access points, and set the range of the DHCP on your primary router so that it doesn't try to assign the same IP number that is already used by one of your access points.

Not familiar with the TC, but am going to take a long-shot and assume it's the same as the AirPort Extreme/Express (configured with Airport Utility?).

With both of the TC & AE in "Bridge Mode", all three devices will be on the same local subnet (good).

By selecting the same SSID, password & authentication, but different channels, you should have seamless browsing in the coverage area. Channels 1, 6 & 11 are recommended for non-overlapping frequencies.

With your 9918, wifi can be on or off. The key factor is to use "Bridge Mode" for the Apple devices, or "disable WAN" on other brands.

Make sure only 1 router is assigning info. The other wifi stations (Airport devices) should be set to bridge mode, which means the devices don't assign their own IPs. If the monoprice one is stable then it'll work. But I find that Apple routers are much more stable than other routers.

And of course, all wifi stations should use same wifi SSID, security and passcode.
