Hi

I've got a iMac g5 on 10.4.2, Netgear DG834GT wireless modem/router and an airport express for airtunes. Currently my computer sees the Netgear and Airport Express as two networks. Can I set them up so that they are one network, ie. so I can use the net and airtunes at the same time? I also understand that it is possible to use the airport to extend the range of the Netgear.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Yes. I believe the best way to do this is through the AirPort Admin Utility whereby under the AirPort tab, select Join An Existing Wireless Network from the drop down menu.

It cannot extend the range of a Netgear but merely join onto the network. An Express can only extend other AirPort's ranges and some Linksys models if they have a third party firmware hack installed. :)
