I have a PC running Windows 2000 with Cable Modem hooked up. I just bought my 1st Mac, a Macbook Pro 15''. What type of wireless router will hook up my MBPro to my current PC and is it an easy setup ?

Any wireless router will work. Opinions as to the best router are highly variable. The best, fastest, best range, most reliable (and most expensive) wireless router I've ever had is this Airport Extreme. The worst, with frequent resets, lousy range, was a Linksys WRT54G, which was also the cheapest.

If I were in your situation right now I would just buy the cheapest G router I can find. Since N is going to be finalized next year I would change the G to an N after that has happened.

I have always had great success with D-Link and the worst success with Netgear.

Awesome...
