Just came of the Apple website discussions forum. Topic Headache.

I found it worrying that someone has mentioned that they get headaches from the wireless from their equipment and has asked if anyone is having this problem? Thats it!

They may get this post "Relocated" "Archived" from the forum?
So no one can add to the topic, to discuss. or see it. So if its a problem for yourself please do add something.

I had my post "relocated" and "Archived" a few months ago for asking if anyone else was getting Dizzy while using a iphone? which i did own one for 6 days, it had to go. As i was still getting dizzy while using one.

All phones or wifi effects me. All this happened in the last 18 months.

I know exactly what you mean. When the first 3G phones and PCMCIA cards came out I couldn't be within a couple of metres of one when it was transmitting. It would feel like my eyeballs were vibrating, which would eventually lead to a headache

I'm glad to say that I don't suffer with current chipsets. It would make my iPhone a little useless :)

Wired headsets and BT earpieces are the answer. They're all I use unless I just use my iPhone's speakerphone. Very rarely would I put my iPhone up to my ear, and even then I hold it a few cm away.

Far as i remember it gives that advise in the iphone manual!
But its all safe isn't it!

Never use it as alarm clock, unless in flight mode. If you do you will wake up around 4.30am.. wireless does not let you sleep well! in turn letting your body getting a chance to repair itself.

You’re definitely right!

While using 3G/3.5G wireless, I felt serious headache and dizziness.

After I turned off the connection, the problem was solved.

I suggest that using broadband network if it’s available.

Let me translates some reports from Taiwanese tech forum…

One guy said he felt dizzy and almost called 911 (Taiwan Call:119) while using 3G wireless network at work.

Someone said he felt headache when he used iPhone indoor and in car.
Too many cases…I also felt dizzy when some passenger used 3G wireless network via Netbook in the same car of the high-speed rail.

I think this is a serious problem, and the government should take measures to avoid accident.

So this is primarily 3G which people are being affected by, or is it all wireless such as airport etc as well? ie, specific frequencies/wavelengths or just generally?

My ear starts to feel hot after about 20 seconds of use of *any* cordless phone (desk, home or mobile) to the point where it actually becomes quite painful if the conversation or waiting on hold goes for any longer than a minute or so.

I would've thought you'd be getting quite uncomfortable all the time with stray EM radiation constantly surrounding us.

Some older cell phones will give me a headache when holding it close to my head. But if it is about over 6 inches away, no.

I have heard about people being affected by WiFi - feeling sick, dizzy etc.

You've got nowhere to go in today's world, though - cafes, restaurant, the neighbours, public buildings all have WiFi, so you either have to stay at home and suffer or ask your neighbours to go wired.
