Hey all,

I’m looking for some assistance. I don’t know if something like this exists or not but I’m looking for a wireless USB Hub for my iPad (something like the Hyperdrive 6-1) that connects to the iPad via Bluetooth. I have seen products that include routers and Hard drives for like $200 and that is overkill for my needs.

Any ideas if this is something that exists?

Thanks in advance!!!

There is no such thing; Bluetooth just isn't that fast. Bluetooth 5 is the fastest at 2Mbps, and compare that to USB 1.1, which is 12Mbps. USB 2.0 is 480Mbps, while USB 3.0 is 5 gigabits/second (5000Mbps).
Wireless USB is a thing but you'd still have to wire something to the iPad to make that function.

So how do the wireless hard drives work? Is it WiFi?
