When my wireless connection was slow, I bought a new cable modem. That was my problem. I bought a Linksys modem and went wireless with my Aiport Express.

What kind of modem and router are you using?

happened to me and we bought a new cable modem also

Strongly suggest you look into the cable modem. had a similar problem last two weeks and frequency goin to Star Bucks increase due to slow speed and lose of DSL signal at home.Probably you could take your cable modem to some shops to verify whether its working or not.

hey! yeah I too have a Macbook and the internet is kinda slow. I have 16mb SKY broadband which should be very fast which it is when downloading files the size of 600mb in like 1hour but just surfing the net with pages with videos or pictures its slow and will take like 20-30 secs 4 some videos pages and it shouldn't because 16mb is very fast isn't it? Anyway I need help as well. I don't know if its the router because it came with the package so don't know if I can buy another 1 because this router which is NETGEAR came with. anyway need help. THX!!!!!

Ok now from reading a few of those I'm really mad now because they all have PC and I don't think that'll be able to help and I saw a lot of whats happened to them and its happened to me as well and they got their internet to go faster by downloading some link but when I clicked it it was 4 PC. I'm currently getting download rates of like 5-80 KB per sec and I have 16mb which would be much faster then that and get like 768 KB per sec so how do I improve from 80KB to 768KB. I so want my internet to go faster because I hate slow internet and want to use it to the fullest. I can't call SKY because whenever I ring they are so clueless because they have to read booklets and then tell me from what they understand from what they read LOL! Another thing is that they support Macs but don't have a clue when you ring up so I need some kind of Mac related SKY broadband thread. PLZ HELP:eek:

I just want to get what I'm paying 4....well what my parents are paying 4 and you know parents they don't have a clue about TECH lol. Whats the point of them paying extra when I'm not getting the full speed. I mean from reading that I now know how fast 16mb can go which is pretty fast as I expected from what I've researched.
