11.1 and 11.2 were fine, but 11.2.1 has serious battery issues. Usually at this time ( 1pm ) its about 90% minimum, however with the new update its 80%, i've barely even used the bloody thing !

Anyone else agree or is it just me

I agree.

11.1 and 11.2 were amazing (I mean the best I can remember), but on 11.2.1 it feels like it’s back to roughly average. Not terrible, not great

It's trash. This is the worst release ever of an operating system for Apple.
All for strong opinions but are you able to give more detail?

I think it’s fairly smooth, haven’t had any major issues with stock apps.. what have you seen?

I have good battery life with the 11.2.1, no issues on the 6s. I usually turn all the 'Background App Refresh' off, which somewhat prevents apps from becoming battery hogs.

Same here. I was fine up to 11.2 on my 8+. Now on 11.2.1, the drain seems a little worse.

It’s interesting that you mentioned being at 80% now. Going from full charge to 90% seemed normal (I’d get about 1.5 hours of usage), but 90-80 went REALLY fast. Less than an hour. Maybe it’s a calibration issue.

I recalibrated my battery and now all is well.

Had an issue where usage and standby was the same. Seems it was pretty common after 11.2 or 11.2.1.

Ran my X down to zero and kept it on the charger for about 8 hours.

Haven’t had a battery issue since.

Does anything in particular show up in battery usage section to show what might be behind it? You can try resetting network settings or all settings to see if that might help. You can try reinstalling completely in case something weird happened with that last update. I believe 11.2 is also still being signed, so if it's really an issue that isn't going away you can try downgrading to that if that really worked better for you.

Hi.
I have done a clean install ( Factory Reset, the installed the iOS again )

Battery lasts the day easily so cannot complain really.

the beta is a lot better.

11.2.1 i got shocking battery life. 11.2.5 seems a lot better. Im on an Iphone X so not sure what its like for other ones. Ios 11 in general has been awful, fingers crossed it gets better.

People said this about the 11.2.1 beta and it never was better
