Who has upgraded and picked up a 11, 11 pro or 11 pro max?

I’m picking mine up from a member on here and pretty excited since I’ve been using a 7 for the last 3 months.

Saves me at least $1000 from buying the 12 pro max new.

Anyone in same boat as me?

If you have bought 11 Pro Max instead of 12 Pro Max, that's good for you, but no need to misguide others with this odd savings number.

IMO, both iPhone 12 and 11 are solid devices and will last for a long time.

Disclaimer: YMMV on 11 Pro prices since the seller is super generous to me and this is probably an exception and not the norm for used 11 pro maxes.

The problem with iPhone 11 is it’s using last-gen networking, a camera system that can’t compete with iPhone 12 on any level today, a tired old design, and performance that is far behind the current iPhone 12 series.

Well I love my 11 pro max and I will be begrudgingly giving it to one of my daughters lol

you know that in about 10 months from now the iPhone 12 is using last-gen networking, a camera system that can’t compete with iPhone 13 on any level , a tired old design, and performance that is far behind the current iPhone 12 series?

iPhone 13 won’t have 6G, the camera system may improve a bit, the design is unlikely to change, and the performance gains can be less futuristic than iPhone 12.

The iPhone 12 this year is a game changer, in a way that many previous iPhone releases have not been. iPhone 12 is a no-brainer upgrade for everyone.

I wouldn't give the iPhone 12 that much praise. Its a good smartphone but when compared to the iPhone 11 it is not that much big of an upgrade. In my eyes, there is absolutely no reason to upgrade to an iPhone 12 if you own an iPhone 11. I am upgrading from a Xs Max to an iPhone 12 Pro Max and I even feel bad about it to some extent cause the current phone serves me very well and there is no real necessity for an upgrade. Its just me and my desire for a new toy to play around with.

This is ridiculous, only a person who has no life other than tech would take the comparisons that far. You make it sound like one could be deported to a third world country for having a phone so inadequate.

Sometimes this place is just too much...

iPhone 11 is still the best smartphone after you exclude all the iPhone 12 series. It's not all bad at all, but I would still urge people to try and put the budget together to buy iPhone 12.

Tired old design? I guess you didn’t use a 4 or 5 series phone, and 6 and up is all you know? I like my XS Max, but I also like the 12 PM too.. I’d rather have the new one.

so you're getting the 11 pro max for $99.... since the 12 pro max costs 1099 and you're saving 1000

Congratulations on your new phone and great deal! I just upgraded from my 11 Pro to the 12 Pro. The 11 Pro is a great phone and has some advantages over the new 12 Pro - better battery life, better screen temperature and more manageable size. I am one of those nerds that upgrades every year, but in reality I would have been happy to stay with my 11 Pro.

Getting a 11 pro max 256 with AC for $525.

New 256 12 pro max with AC after tax is $1520 here in California. So it’s not $1000 saved, it’s $995. Sorry for the miscalculation.

But again this is a one off and seller is super generous.
