I'm thrilled at the idea of Apple's new file system. More stability? Faster? Better error protection? Yes please. As a video professional, under-the-hood improvements like these are way more interesting to me than the cosmetic and incremental updates of the last few versions of macOS.
But quick question: does anyone know if HFS+ formatted drives will still be compatible and usable on the macOS platform? I'm really talking about external drives here. I have many many TBs of archived video data that I have nowhere to dump in order to do a repartition on the drives they sit on. Does anyone know if this will be a problem?
