Can anyone who has a white Macbook tell me what the best product is for cleaning it?:p (Both the keyboard and it's surroundings, and the lid and the bottom)

Oh yeah and by the way I ment clean not clen
 
Well, this thread thinks it's found the best answer. To be honest, there are a few different techniques. Have a look around the forums because there've been quite a few threads on this in the past. :)
 
i use iKlear to clean my mbp, but you can also use it on your macbook. most of the people on here will recommend it. apple uses iklear too!

For everything but the screen, unless the screen has some greasy smudges on it. I use the microfiber cloth that came with the apple cinema display to clean the screen.

Thanks tngisaga! Because I was about to buy that but I was doubting if it would really work or if it was a rip off.:D

I'm going to have a go at the toothpaste thing.
I can't get Mr. Clean Magic Eraser in Spain nor in the UK.:(
I'm quite persuaded to purchase iKlean though.

I really wouldn't use toothpaste. In fact DON'T use toothpaste. I don't know who starts these "I clean my stuff with toothpaste" threads on forums but they're normally malicious. I have seen this advice for things like watches, computers and so on and people normally post back saying "toothpaste runined my..."

Like - d'oh.

Toothpaste will not be good to use on plastic matt or shiny or aluminium or metal with a shiny finish because toothpaste contains abrasives. Toothpaste is made for cleaning teeth. Weird eh. The mild abrasives are there to clean the enamel (the hardest substance in the human body) of your teeth. Whitening toothpastes obviously have more abrasives in them but nearly all toothpastes will have some form of abrasive material in them. If you polish soemthing with it therefore you will more than likely dull the finish on something that is shiny and scratch the finish on something that is matt.

Just use your common sense to clean things. I clean my macbook pro with a microfiber cloth from Marks and Spencers (!) Mainly because my jeweller said it was the best thing to polish my watch with and if it's good enough for my watch then it's certainly good enough for my computer.

A lightly damp cloth (microfiber) is the best thing you can use in my opinion.
