My laptop uses a WLAN connection and I connect when I use it at home to my Linksys router. Wh en I start using the Internet, my connectivity is 54 Mbps during my connection. Then my connectivity drops from 54 to 1.1 Mbps and makes my system slow and sometimes disconnects me from my router. What causes this? Any idea! Reply me!

Then why laptops are costly than a PC?

What does that have to do with anything? Perhaps you think that because the laptop costs more money, it should work just fine. But if there's something completely independent of your laptop causing these issues, then it's not your laptop's fault.

Are you nearby a cordless phone or a microwave oven that's in use? Those can kill a WiFi signal pretty quickly
