I figured this a good a forum as any for this topic - I was wondering if anyone has a good suggestion for a wm6 compatible aim client. Could be java based, I'm not picky. I would like for it to be able to identify mmy wifi connection and not eat jup my sms though. My Wing came witb the OZ messanger but it has its problems (couldn't quit the app once opened).

I have used fring - but I was curious of other options I had.

And I would really not want to use a Jabber passthrough.

Thanks!

I don't know if there are any free ones out there. IM+ is a good one, but not free. But almost every client besides OZ uses your data connection (or WiFi) rather than SMS

I found that Palringo suites my needs alright. It's not amazing (you can only chat with one person at a time) but it gets the job done :)
