Loving my new AppleTV 2. Now the fun of ripping all of my DVDs. I'm a little reluctant to devote time to converting so many Barney, Sesame Street and Disney movies, but such life.

Anyway, I'm looking for suggestions for Windows ripping software. I've read plenty on here about Handbrake, but can't see anything specific on preparing DVDs for Handbrake (i.e., stripping copyright protections). Any suggestions for all in one software would also be appreciated. And I'll be ripping both DVD and Blueray.

Thanks in advance.

I think the kids are asleep so its time for Santa.

Slysoft AnyDVD for decrypting and Slysoft CloneDVD Mobile for converting to AppleTV. I have been using these since first AppleTV came out and have not found a DVD I could not convert. I have tried Handbrake and DVDFab. Both of these are faster but have issues with some DVDs with either sound sync or chapters in movie are out of order.

DVD Decrypter is perfect for removing copy protection and simply getting the files off the disc - you can either archive your files as is, or run them through an encoding program like handbrake.
