I noticed that my brand new SR has a trackpad button that wobbles and is noisy when you click on the edges. It's annoying considering that I did not have that in my previous MBPX1600! Anyone else with this issue?

Hi, I've posted a similar thread about this issue.

Apparently, the design is such that it rocks from side to side. I went down to a local Apple Centre where i purchased the new MBP from and tested a few MBPs there, and all of them have the same kind of trackpad that i have.

Sheesh, even my PB and iBook's tackpad button is firmer than this.

haven't noticed this.......

just enable clicking using the pad itself and you'll never use the button/notice :p
