is this an Apple Music problem or an iOS problem? Thanks for any help.

It literally deleted every song on my phone overnight.

Ok so I connected to a wifi connection and all my songs reappeared.... However I have to download them all again.

How is this allowed to happen?

How can I avoid this?

Stop using iCloud and only use Apple Music to stream. Or get Spotify.
Isn't iCloud the thing that keeps your songs the same on all devices? If I turn that off I'm screwed.

I just don't understand WHY it would delete everything overnight

I've had massive issues again with iTunes Match, and Apple Music. Since the update all the album names I change have no reverted back to their original. Also I deleted a few albums which all of sudden have returned. All downloaded music was deleted.

Edit, I'm managed to fix all the issues. Signed out of iCloud on all devices, manually forced iTunes to sync on my MacBook, then signed back into all my devices again.
