Messing about with the game today, It looks like I found some kind of developer console when trying some gestures. its a bit obscure to bring up and i don't know what to type into it yet or what it can do, but it exists.

Don't know if anyone else has found this, but instructions follow:

Open the game, start a level, then do the following gesture, rap your fingers in sort of a mexican wave motion once (tap with your pointing finger, then index finger and so on) then tap with all four fingers once.
I normally do it in the top half of the screen, but it will probably work on it all.

Known commands that respond:
map: gamemap <map>, some kind of way to change map, havent worked it out yet
god: God mode ON, toggles God mode on and off
give all: Gives you all weapons, ammo and keys
music <number>: Some kind of variable to change the music, havent figured it out
developer: some other kind of variable, most likely to start and stop logging or something.

Screenshot of the console:

EDIT: it doesnt appear to respond to anything, but it might be doing things invisibly.
EDIT: it also (after some testing) doesnt need the "wave" sort of gesture, just a 4 finger tap.

Awesome! Give All also works. It doesn't say anything in the console like God does, but when you return you have all of the guns, ammo and keys.

I never played the original but this game is fun. And anyone who is wondering Doom And Quake are coming soon.

fair do's i just saw it and thought it was pretty cool and couldnt see anyone else posting about it, so i decided to share the knowledge
Yeah, don't listen to folks like that, I'd finished the game on my iPhone a while back, craving exploratory tools like "god mode" and "give all", I assumed they were there, but hadn't really experimented to get them. Good post.

I'm on map E6M10, and encountered a PacMan "ghost monster" in the catacombs, and it was pissing me off that I couldn't figure out how to survive it once it emerged. I'd legitimately killed everything on the level on "Death Incarnate" mode, and was lazily exploring the secret doors of a zombie den when I ran into this abomination.

Thanks for sharing also.

The idea of console mode on a bloody phone game just about does my head in :) I'd say the iPhone is more powerful than half the desktop computers I've owned in my life.

I ran into the Pacman monster while playing Wolfenstein years ago, soon after it first came out. Nice to know it made it into the iPhone version.

Reading a FAQ / cheats / secrets list for Wolfenstein should give you more codes for the iPhone console, and some info about Pac-Monster.

Best wishes

The only problem is that things change between ports.

I downloaded the iPhone source and found all the commands... Chief amongst them being "listCmds" (which I'd guessed at previously but didn't realize was case-sensitive). Also the maps were named oddly, so I didn't realize that "map w09" takes you to map e1m9 (secret), and typing "map w59" takes you to map e6m9.

Using this, I found the secret Pac-man level with ALL the ghost monsters and the oddly familiar map design. The command "notarget" was especially fun to play with. I found myself entering rooms chock full of soldiers and saying, "I suppose you gentlemen are wondering why I called you here." and then lighting them up with chaingun justice.

Yes, I know... It's an illness.

Anyone figure out how to kill the red sucker yet??? No luck here.
Can't find a good FAQ/cheat/secret sheet either. Found a site that mentioned the few cmd's listed in this thread but nothing else. Googled till I cried. Also, how do you get the list to not scroll passed so you can see the whole list of cmd's?

I think its safe to say its "unkillable". It's simply there to give you a hard time, and chase you away. It's slow, dumb, and has no projectile weapons. It's basically an environmental hazard. If it pins you up against the wall, even in "god-mode" its effectively a stalemate and you need to change levels from the console, or suffer unending flashes of red. Oh... my kingdom for "noclip" support.
