does anybody remember Wolfenstein!? not the new one, the one for Mac Os 8,
is there anyway to get that game and make it run on OS 10.4 without Mac os Classic?

thanks
!

You mean Wolfenstein 3d? That was out quite some time before OS8.
As for playing it without Classic, maybe if someone has made a Flash version, or you can find the unofficial FreeBSD port.

ah i remember and love that game. i have a copy of it actually. and Spear of Destiny too!

but alas its windows. wonder if i can get it running through parallels on my macbook....

Now I want to install it on my MBP in bootcamp too. Dont know if it will work in vista though :(

just wondering , is there a mac os 7-9 emulator or something like that? not requiring to install classic?

It's not even Windows, it's DOS!

There are plenty of updated versions which will reuse your data files. Search for GLDoom and WolfGL, which are updated versions of the engine to use OpenGL.

http://freshmeat.net/projects/wolfgl/ is one which runs on Win/Linux. It might be possible to compile it for OSX, but it should run easily under Parallels or Boot Camp.
