my mom says that I won't be able to find a woman who like one,

So

Ladies! What do you think of the 2009 Nissan Skyline GTR??

EDIT: NO I am not looking to date a woman who likes one!

I'm a guy....but I really doubt that the GTR would be as popular with women as other cars. It's too aggressive and chunky I think. I, however, love it. I saw it at the NY Auto Show in the spring, awesome car.

I know plenty of girls who think fast, aggressive, expensive cars are nice. And it's not that they're superficial, they also like "cute" cars, the ones they would actually drive. Just because a woman wouldn't buy the car doesn't mean she doesn't like it. She'd love to see her man driving it.

WTF is your problem? Frankly, this is better then asking if women like :insert sexual activity here: like our buddy has been doing. Calm down.

Seriously, If women judge a guy by their car/possessions, I want nothing to do with dating. People should care about the person and not their car. Anyone who is that concerned about what women think about their car has self confidence issues IMO.

EDIT: IMO that car is to boxy looking, but I seem to have this problem with most asian cars. Personally nothing can beat a BMW.

This thread has nothing to do with dating.

Oh I see. You're interpreting it as he is trying to get a woman out of it. I think he is trying to say he won't find a woman that will like the GT-R for what it is. Not that if it will get him laid.

From your first post it seems as though it did have to do with that.Sorry if I offended you.

EDIT: @quagmire- That's exactly what I thought. I understand the OP's intension now.

Thanks for appology. Im just trying to convince my mom that the GTR is not just a car "for guys going through mid-life crisis"

Well I agree with you that it isn't a guy with midlife crisis car. Why does it matter what your mother thinks about your car (I'm assuming your of legal age wherever you live, and are not getting financial assistance from your mother to purchase the car. Correct me if I'm wrong.)

EDIT: just checked the OP's profile, according to it he is 14.

For what it's worth, my wife thinks the GTRs (and other Skylines before) are bloody amazing.

I lost the thread halfway down the page. Is the OP wanting a car, wanting a woman or both?

The OP wants the car, but needs his mom to like the car. Why I have no idea:confused:

EDIT: Just found out that the OP is a minor. I have to agree that this car seems to be a "midlife crisis car"

More Rich Boys rice rocket... probably see quite a few drifting and street racing.

I can see Hulk Hogan's son crashing one of these, that loser drifter wannabe.

But the car is awesome though, "rice rocket" or not.

I think it would appeal to "drivers" more than rich men and women, though. It doesn't have the sleek appearance that a typical rich person would look for in a sports car, nor the obscure, exotic name or rarity.

The only person who would buy this is someone who wants to race it, you'd think.

I could see that.

Does my age honestly matter?

Do you have to be in the market for a car to have an opinion of it.?

I just want to find out peoples opinions.

You are very critical of people i feel.
Well, if you are an adult it shouldn't matter if your mother like s a car you want. If you aren't it does matter, and I really doubt that some posts from MacRumors will change her mind. It sounded like you were in the market for a car.

This thread is merely out of curiousty.

What 'group' of people do you think the GTR is most popular with? Do woman like the design?

I am sorry for the confusion.
