installed boot camp this week and everything was working fine. Just now, windows had an update and I installed it. It turned out to be the IE update to give me the lastest browser. Now, when I turn my computer off/ then on and hold ALT, it still boots in XP. Im blaming the update because this is when the switching stopped working.

any solutions?

In either case, you can easily use the Startup Disk control panel installed with the Boot Camp drivers to re-select your OS X partition as the primary boot volume.

another way is going in control panel in windows xp and selecting to boot of mac os x. Looks like you found a way that worked however.
