Won't Work? Dell Reinstallation CD..

Yea,
I have so many windows computers at my house, and i recently purchased a MBP. I wish I could 'suck the XP' out of my old computer, and apply it to the MBP, but I cant.

However I have found a Dell OS reinstallation CD for Service Pack 1a. Will it work?

NUP - you need a retail version not a OEM.

The version that you have on the Dell CD's will be specific to Dell hardware. You will need to purchase a full retail version of XP/Vista if you want to run it on your MB/MBP.

Yes it does suck, but it's better than Microsoft trying to sue Apple for lost revenue.
