Word 2016 for Mac - Cannot see second page.

Is anyone else seeing this issue following a recent update?

When opening a Microsoft Word 97 - 2004 document (.doc) -- of which almost all my documents are -- I cannot see the second page. I have to convert the document to the newer file format, and then it opens, but there are formatting issues. I would like to open them like normal, as I used to be able to do.

I have Office 2016 with all updates, including the most recent 16.10.0 (Feb. 10). I just opened several multi-page .doc files, some of which date back to 2007 and have not been modified (or probably even opened) since. I didn't see this. Sorry.

Can you think of anything special about your documents that might affect this? I know, that's a pretty vague question ...
