Word Line Underline Problem

Hi folks,

I used 3x _ to create some lines for my students to write on. Now as I enter some new text with bullet points, Word assumes I want to finish with an underlined line. I don't :)

How can I remove this?

PS See below red text in attachment - sorry, couldn't attach a .docx so here's a pic. First and third lines are fine. I want to delete the second one.
