Word Question

Ok, I know this is a minor gripe, but in word the box with font, size, alignment, spacing etc. fades to translucent when not being used. That annoys the hell out of me. Anybody know how to fix it?

? Which verison of Word. Neither Word X, nor Word 2004 does this for me.. unless you're talking about when there's no open document, in which case the only "fix" is to have an open document.

Tools -> Customize -> Customize Formatting Palette

Click the "never" box next to the effect at the top of the window.
