Hey Folks,

I'm a kind of worried here. Yesterday I was writting an entry in my blog on the train so I saved it on the Local Drafts folder of the WordPress for iPhone 1.1. When I arrived home to upload it, the folder was empty! What shows me that I am not crazy is the (1) just by the side of the arrow > . I wrote a new draft and the same thing happened; nothing in the folder but now the # is (2).

I wonder if this happened with someone else and if I uninstall and reinstall my app, I would lose my extensive text. :(

Thanks!

Same exact thing happened to me. I really do need a way to retrieve my posts! Have you, or anyone else, figured out why it's doing this how to fix it?

What I did is NEVERMORE saving as local draft. Now I only save as DRAFT because it's stored online. That is what I would recommend you.

Good luck,
Erick

): That's not much of a fix! There has to be some way to get my entries back right? *grumbles* And it seems not too many people have this issue either... searching for it on google definitely took some time and different word combinations.

Thanks though.

not much help for your specific problem and I know I've said it elsewhere, but I would suggest ditching the Wordpress app (yes, I know it was free) and getting iBlogger (yes, I know it costs money) as it is a much better tool and works well with Wordpress blogs.

Wordpress or iBlogger

Yeah but then iBlogger has other problem; it does not save as draft online, only local. Either you publish or leave it in your iPhone. Supposedly this will be corrected/added in future versions.

Ah, not noticed that. But as I only post from iPhone or computer but not a mix this hasn't been an issue. Good to know though in case I save a draft and then wonder why I can't find it on my PC. Thanks.

So is there no way to retrieve my entries? Does anyone know where the local drafts are stored on the phone? I mean, if it shows there are local drafts it means the posts have to be somewhere in the phone right?

Still not how to fix this pb ?
