I have a wordpress blog and i was wondering how I can get a counter that will tell me how many people are subscribed to a certain RSS feed.

thanks for the reply, The only thing is i dont want to use feedburner (i dont like it) is there any thing for wordpress or a nother service?
well if you go -> dashboard -> Feed Stats , you can see how many readers youve got. If you want to display that information to public, there is no alternative method that i know of than feedburner. what is your problem with feed burner anyway? is it just that you dont know how to use it? its just a simple plugin instalation. i guess if youre stuborn, you could look at the word press php files and find out the code it uses to display the number of feed readers in your dashboard, and then copy that code over to use in your theme....
What's so bad about feedburner? The pro features are now free, so you don't have to pay anything for complex stats on your feeds.
i tried the convince method
erm and i think im using an old version still so that would make sense that some features have changed.
