Words w/ Friends push notifications not working?

Has anybody else had any luck with push notifications with Words With Friends on the iphone 4? I get no notification at all even though they're all turned ON in settings. The only way I can see if it's my turn is if I actually open up the app, then if I close it without making a move a badge will be over the icon. I don't think it's an iOS4 thing because my friend has a 3GS on 4.0.1 and she gets all notifications, etc. I've tried deleting and reinstalling with no luck.

I tried un-installing and reinstalling today, still no notifications

This used to happen to me all the time. I use a 3GS so its not just the i4. Never figured out a solution tho it just started working again all of a sudden
