I'm about to buy my 1st iPhone (actually, first mobile!) Have a practical workflow that I'd like some advice on: have found pieces here, but not the whole picture.
In a nutshell, I'd like, at a place far from WiFi (train, park, etc.) 1) receive a file in iPhone by e-mail from client (typically Word, plain text, PowerPoint); 2) move file to MacBook by USB or BlueTooth; 3) after working on the file, move back to iPhone; 4) send file by e-mail to client.
This seems like a simple operation, but although I've found file handling apps (iStorage+DiskAid, DocsToGo, ReaddleDocs, etc.) AND e-mail apps able to send file attachments (Emailer Pro, ibisMail, Quickoffice Files), I haven't been able to clarify here or on App descriptions on iTunes Store whether these apps play together.
Does anyone do this regularly (and successfully)? Again, this situation assumes no WiFi access, no MobileMe. Simplicity and dependability most important. Any ideas appreciated!
