Workflow when using an iPad to review/delete photos?

I currently use a Macbook Pro to insert an SD card of .CR2 files, and review hundreds of them, and delete the ones I do not want before transferring the remaining folder of photos to an iMac. I'm thinking of using an iPad Pro instead of the Macbook Pro. I know that you need the SD adapter, though

1. can I choose which program to review and delete the photos when importing .CR2 from an SD card?
2. Can I use Lightroom Mobile instead of Photos to simply review and delete photos?
3. How do you then re-export the .CR2 files back onto the SD card via the adapter?
