My new iMac is on a new desk sitting next to my 2015 MBP.
I have them networked and am sharing files.
Now, just looking to do more with the two computers.

Is there a good way to link the screens so the mouse moves from one to the other or link them up to work in similar ways?

Any other tips and tricks to make the most of this impressive new machine?

Also I plan to upgrade the ram. I only got the stock standard 8. Any suggestions on which is the best option there? I am only planning 32 maybe 64.

My thoughts:

Let each Mac "be its own Mac".

Insofar as RAM goes, please tell us WHY you need 64gb.

My preferred source for RAM:

The computer is getting setup to edit HD video, just figured it could be useful. No particular reason.

Thanks for that site, the prices look good. I realize that there is a big jump between 32 and 64.

I see there is 4 banks for memory. Is it possible to leave the original 8 in there if I am going to install a 32gb (2x16 sticks)?
