I have a proejct to do for school- basically, i can do anything i want- all the teacher said was "be creative, not the normal poster project" I am pretty good at this, and have made some decent videos for her in the past, but want some suggestions on other creative things i can do with my computer for the project..I normally just make a video, and everyone loves it.

My topic is d-day, so i feel making a video will be so cliche, just like any world war 2 movie.. What other cool things could i do..

Actually, it is completely the opposite. Even if we do a boring old poster project, everyone just prints out pictures, and glues them on a blank poster. I am the only one that designs the whole poster, and teachers always love my projects. I was just wanted to do something different rather than a video, maybe like something interactive?

Just a thought... Instead of trying to do something entirely original, maybe you could just put a simple twist on what people are used to seeing. Seems like we always learn about things from the view point of the Allies. So, how about reporting on D-Day from the viewpoint of an Axis soldier or platoon or whatever? Of course you have to be careful with this tactic, but it may be an interesting way to go.

Or pick out some specific piece of weaponry used in this battle or war and show how it potentially changed the course of history.

If you get either the Military channel or the History channel, you can see a lot of great ideas on how to approach topics like this. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

hmm i actually like the website idea.. but i might get beat up for being ultra nerdy ;)

what about a game liking thing, like the nazi's vs the u.s. o the beach and its almost like a chess like game where the pieces advance at each other (i know that not historically correct cause the Germans had the bunkers.) or just the U.s. advance on the beach space by space by answering trivia questions

idk just throwin some stuff out there, those ideas usually kill with my teachers
