I just upgraded my 6+ from 9.0.2 JB to 9.3 beta 7.

I am willing to give up JB now.

I use flux, buy now that function is builded in.

The animation is much much smoother in 9.3Beta than 9.0.2

What I lost is basically the CCsetting, which is no big deal. And I can't switch off the camera shutter now (my iphone is the Japanese version). I am quite happy accept that for better performance.

Also, more and more apps required at least iOS 9.1 now. That's the main reason why I upgrade the OS, I don't like JB limited my usage of the iPhone. JB supposed to extend my iPhone's function, but not limiting it.

Doesn't work when Low Power mode is on. Can't set the warmth like you can with f.lux, only how much blue is present - or not.

I'm jailbroken on 9.0.2. Don't seem to have any issue with animations. At least I've never noticed anything. But then I guess animations aren't important to me at all.

I don't use CCSettings. My camera shutter has been disabled and my performance is great. I have over 150 tweaks installed. Can't imagine how going to 9.3 beta would make loading Facebook or email any better. Are your phone calls in super HD? Do texts send faster and announce themselves with fanfare to the recipient? Does your web browser leave burn marks because it's so blazing fast now?

Your usage and mine are very different. Don't see what Facebook on iOS 9.3 beta would allow me to do better than Facebook on iOS 6.1. Email, texting, phone calls?

I'm not a heavy app user and I much prefer customization over being on the bleeding edge of app upgrading. Hence jailbreaking frees my phone - it doesn't limit it at all.

If not for circumstances I'd still be using my iPhone 5 jailbroken on iOS 6.1. Had a very good setup there I was happy with and I do nothing now that I did not do then that requires any app to run on 9.3 or better.

I share the same thoughts...... I'll add that not one single app I use "requires" 9.1 nor any app I've looked up. The ability to de-bloat iOS file systems, downgrade apps that break tweak features, along with customization is something we'll never to be able to do on stock iOS. Once you've jailbroken it's hard to think that going back to stock can be better. I can't think of a single reason. I'm also still on 9.0.2

For some people there seems to be an internal drive to upgrade and update. If they are not on the latest or the device is preventing them from being on the latest it seems as if it almost causes them physical pain.

I have no such need or desire. My only concern is making my phone look and act the way I want it to and jailbreaking allows me to do that.

But beyond that, my iPhone is simply a phone. I do email, text messages, calls, web browsing and social media on the device as well as the occasional screenshot or picture. I sit at a computer all day. If I need something more than that I'm right in front of the computer. Hence my phone is nothing more than a phone and I don't use it beyond that. And thus the iOS and apps I use are not required to be current.

Sure our usage are very very different, I don't need low power mode, my 6+ never run out of battery. So, it won't affect me.

I only installed few tweaks, mainly need F.lux, the native one works well for me. I don't need the extra settings, but just the basic function. I don't need phone call in Super HD, in fact, I don't know what it is.

However, 9.0.2's animation is not that smooth for 6+ (I have another 5s still on 9.0.2jb, which is totally fine). It won't affect the iPhone's basic function, but if I don't really need JB anymore, why not get it as a bonus.

Haha, of course I don't need Facebook in 9.1, but some new apps (e.g. for quick photo editing etc) really need 9.1 or newer. In fact, some Bank apps will show me a warning (about not secure to run on a jailbroken iphone) and refuse to run on my 6+, which make me hard and hard to stay on 9.0.2 JB.

Of course, what I mean improve performance is mainly on the UI, not the background stuff. However, that's the interface, which do affect me. With few tweaks installed (may be I simply pick the wrong one), my 6+ sometimes need few seconds to switch apps (back screen for 3-5 sends), I really hate that, especially when I am at work, I really want the phone respond to me ASAP.

Anyway, I will keep my 5s and ipad 2 jailbroken, but I am also happy to give up JB on my 6+. In most of the time, I prefer to use the phone in the native way. I jailbroke it because I want to make it easier for me to use, but not make it special. And it cannot serve this purpose at this moment on my 6+. Hopefully the official 9.3 will be jb avail, I will then JB it again ASAP. But now, I am happy to use the 9.3 beta rather than 9.0.2 JB on my 6+.

Well, my banking app has never complained. But if it did I'd just go to the mobile site. I don't need low power mode either as I have the 6s+ but I prefer f.lux's features over what I've read about with Apple's Night Mode. It seems that whenever Apple integrates a jailbreak tweak feature into iOS they do a poor job of it. Quick Reply in iOS pales in comparison to BiteSMS - and so on.

Overal the UI handles just fine for me and again, since I'm not into animations and I pretty much try and kill them off where I find them this doesn't matter to me.

As for photo editing or anything requiring more intensive work.…well, I'm not going to pick up my phone when I have a MacPro in front of me running Adobe CC or my Macs at home running Adobe CS4. If it's something that needs to be done and I'm out I just wait until I get to a computer.

I use the device I believe is most appropriate for the job. And most people would consider my life boring so I'm never in a spot where something needs to be done NOW and all I have is my phone.

NOTHING digital is worth losing my jailbreak over. No app, no job, no stock enhancement/feature - nothing.

But that's just my outlook and again I agree - we are very different on this.
