I bought the iPad 3G 32GB today. I absolutely love it, but I filled it up way to fast. So now I am thinking I should go back to Apple Store to exchange it for the 64GB? Will they even allow this? Is it worth it?
If so how long do I have to do this? I think I read 14 days, but I am not quite sure?

In most cases they would take a restocking fee. Perhaps try Craigslist and see if you can make a small profit or even break even?

If you are gonna use the space sure. I have the 16GB and can't even imagine needed the 32, but if you have the stuff and you want it on their go right ahead. :p

I had a 32GB Wi-Fi and considered the 64GB 3G today, however, I still had over 22GB free on the 32GB after a month so I just stayed with the 32GB 3G.

It looks like you need the space, so I would just put the 32GB on eBay and get the 64GB model. I saw some iPads going for well over retail today. I think that people outside the U.S. may be paying a premium for them, so you may be able to avoid the restocking fee and get your money back.

I think the restock fee is 10% at Apple and 15% at Best Buy.

32gb isn't enough if you plan on putting several movies on it.

Most of the movies I have are around 3GB. Even with my 22GB of free space on my 32GB I can still store around 7 movies.

Wow a little over 70 dollar restocking fee, that's pretty big. I'll probably just think about it for a week.

Yes the 64GB is worth it and the best deal next to the 16GB. Take it back and exchange it, they won't charge you a restocking fee for upgrading your ipad.

I would say the $100 or $130 difference in price is worth it for double the storage. I'll never have to worry about not having enough space for anything.

Call and ask. On the wifi models some of the people here took it back for the bigger one and they didn't charge a restocking fee.

can't hurt to ask.

Needs vary according to the user. Apparently 32GB isn't enough for you, upgrade while you have the easier option to do so. Personally, 32GB is more than enough for me, I barely have 2GB of content used so far.

You have a lot of questions today! Lol
If you have 3G even a 16gb would be enough since you can stream all your data unless your the biggest comic book fan and need every single comic.

I assume most of your 32GB are movies or video files?
If you just watch them at home, I'd recommend downloading Air Video. It streams video files from your computer without having to convert or synchronize them into iPad. Save A LOT of space.

I have a 16GB iPad. At first, I wanted to upgrade to a 32GB. But after using that app, I have no video files in the iPad at all. Everything streams on the air now (Netflix, ABC, and now Air Video).

Air video is not just from home, you can stream it to your iPad from any place.

When I picked up my iPad last night. They told me the restocking fee is 15%. they even circle the reciept.

If you're upgrading to a more expensive product you can always get the restocking fee waived.

Are you sure about that, even if I don't do it for a week? (I have 14 days to return/exchange it)

I was thinking the same about my 32gb, but then I realized I don't need all my music on it. I have all my tunes on my iPhone. So i deleted all but a couple of playlists and now the 32gb has enough for a few movies, tv shows, apps and most of the photos.

It's enough for now, and plus I'll be wanting iPad 2.0 next year and that will have 128gb no doubt.

Well, I learned to never say never some time ago. :)

But you're right, trying to save $100 today is just so not worth it having to deal with the storage issues down the road. I am definitely getting a 64GB 3G version.

When I returned a Macbook for an iMac the manager waved the restocking fee because I was exchanging. I would try talking them into just letting you exchange and pay the difference.
