Considering selling my 32 gb Touch and getting a 32 gb iPad. Any reasons (other than cost) not to do this?

Also, can anyone confirm if the iPad's bluetooth will connect to a car's headunit like the iPod Touch can?

Thanks!

Pocket use is not a big deal, I can just find a nice sleeve and take it with me or hide it behind my seats when I get out of the car.

I don't think he meant putting it in your pocket so it's not at risk in your car, I think he meant taking it in your pocket so you can have it to use at almost all times.

The iPad's size causes it to fill a different role in your life, even though the technology and many of the concepts are the same.

Using an iPad as an iPod would be ... interesting. I mean, it would work fine in some situations, but it would be bizarre in other situations.

Ok let me clarify: I am saving $$$ for a wedding, so I would have to sell one to fund the other. But as to use, I only use my iPod for music in the car and on airplane flights.

I envision using an iPad for other things, such as surfing the web while lounging, reading iBooks, etc.

If those are the main things you'd use it for, then yes, switch to the iPad. It will do the things you want with some advantages and with no sacrifices for your desired uses (music in car and on plane).

Oh yeah it is definitely worth it. Your gonna need an ipod nano or something, but if your just looking to to upgrade the touch, its a worthwhile addition. I am hoping that OS 4.0 will add alot more functionality to it, but if you are cool with having a different mp3 player to carry, unless you want to carry this around or your phone, then its a worthwhile upgrade. I upgraded from a 64 gb touch to a 64 gb ipad, and the extra screen is awesome the apps, games, etc.
