iPhone 14 Pro Max Would a 14 Pro Max still be worth it even if you can't use it regularly?

So there's the possibility that I may get a job at a facility where I cannot bring phones. The work schedule would be a standard M-F 9-5.

I have a 14 Pro Max on order. I want to use it as my offline music jukebox and primary camera, as well as for on-the-go photo post-processing (I intend to take photos mostly in RAW).

I'm upgrading from an XR that is still functional and has only a couple scratches at worst, but I feel limited by the camera when I go out and about, and I can't fit all my music collection in it.

So...thoughts?

Get the phone if you really want it. I work 4 10 hour shifts each week and cannot take my phone into work either. I get plenty of use out of my phone when I am not at work. I’m guessing you will also.

I give you guys props. I wouldn't want a job where I couldn't have my phone on me. I am just too attached to mine.

I'm hardly ever more than 10 feet away from my phone.

What's the big deal? Tons of people have jobs where they can't use their devices while on shift. Just get it and enjoy it while you're not working.

yes for me, XR is 4 yrs old, so i've traded all my XR ( probably worth $150-180 at swappa) was credited $495 each, and got 14 Pro Max and 14 Pro, its no brainer for me, 48MP Proraw is real, no longer bringing my heavy Nikon DSLR camera anymore, life is short and enjoy to the fullest.

I work 9-5, can take my phone with me, but how my case is better than yours? It is not like i can stare at my phone anytime during the day because nobody does that where I work - I keep it just to use 5 mins a day from 9-5 to check emails or reply my wife.
