So I'm planning on buying a MBP TB 13-inch soon, but need advice on something. I found an Apple authorised education reseller that sells the 512 gb model for £1580.64 (here), which also includes 4-year warranty. The same model is priced at £1754.40 in Apple's education store, but I can get the Beats as part of the Back to School offer. My question is, if I go to an Apple store, how likely am I to get a price match of the reseller and get the Beats along with it? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Would Apple store price match reseller and still offer Back to School Beats?

Is the reseller offering Beats as well? Probably not, so that means Apple is not likely to price match because it isn't the same base deal. But in any case why would you want to get Beats, don't you like your hearing? The extended bass on them will eventually damage your hearing, you're better off getting a more even sound spectrum on your headphones, because emphasis on any frequency range eventually damages your hearing in that range. Just a thought.
Why I want Beats? I might sell them
It's true, the reseller doesn't offer Beats, but it says in the T&C of the Back to School offer that the Beats are not a gift, and when you purchase them along with a Mac, you get a saving equal to the Beats' price. Also says you can combine the Back to School offer with any other offers Apple might run. So that's why I was wondering. It combines with the education discount anyway, why can't it combine with a price match instead?
I can't speak of Apple in the UK, but here in the US I'm fairly certain Apple does not price match. Other authorized sellers here in the US do price match but even at that, some make exceptions and exclude Apple products.
Here in the USA, Apple store do not match prices. They sell for the list price, plus any available discounts. If you have a corporate or educational affiliation, for example, they can offer a pre-determined discount accordingly. It's not much on Apple product, but often more on accessories.
Apple retail does not price match. If you're intention is to sell the beats, you're better off just getting the EDU deal with the warranty, less complicated.
Unlikely, its not like apple is losing a sale. You're buying an Apple MBP either way, why would they want to compete against themselves.
Because the profit margin for Apple is likely still better. In other words, they would likely make more money selling directly to you than selling to Best Buy or whomever.
