Hi there can someone please help?

Running the latest top spec 5k iMac.

My FCPX went crazy as you can see in the picture.

I created a new administrator account and FCPX worked fine.

I then contacted Apple Support as was still happening, they made me delete preferences then seemed to work. It then happened again but I realised it was only when I opened one of my libraries in FCPX, all the other libraries work.

I deleted the library from the computer and the issue hasn't reoccurred.

Has anyone experienced this? How can a library get corrupted and can it cause this? Just want to make sure doesn't sound like hardware.

Thank you

Roberto

It may be a hardware issue, is this problem just with FCPx or just that one app?

Hi there

The problem is only with FCPX but since deleted the library hasn't happened again yet.

When the problem happened I created an admin account and wasn't happening in that.

Only had a new motherboard 4months ago and after that sent it back two times to be checked and both times no faults found.

How can be sure not hardware, what should I look out for? At the moment all working fine.

Lucky I have 2 1/2 years of AppleCare remaining.

Thank you.
