I'm going to get my base 21.5" iMac soon (hopefully), and I really wanted to know if it would be an upgrade from my current PC.

PC Specs:

Intel Core2 Quad CPU 2.40GHz
2GB DDR2
320GB HDD
ATI Radeon HD 2600XT
Windows 7
19" Dell LCD

iMac Specs:

Intel Core2 Duo 3.06GHz
4GB DDR3
500GB
nVidia 9400m
Snow Leopard
21.5" LED

well spec wise the mac is better, snow leopard runs in my opinon alot better than windows, the only thing u have not listed is the size of your current monitor, if 21.5 is big enough then that's fine, another thing you need to look into is the software you want to run, anything windows only bassed you could use in boot camp..
