Would it be bad to keep the fanning running at 1800rmp?

Hey guys so I noticed that during certain situations my gpus and CPU would become quite toasty and the fans really don't kick in high enough to keep them below 90c. So would it be bad for the fan if I keep it running at 1800rpm for long periods of time? This only happens when I am gaming on my new Mac Pro for extensive periods of time.

Most likely the only down side is that you will have a more noisy nMP.

Better airflow and low temps in your case is actually better for your system. If it is a self build case, check your cable management, so it doesn't obstruct the airflow. There is no such thing as too low temps.

Thanks for all the replies guys I understand that a cooler system is a better system but what I meant to ask is I am unfamiliar with what sort of fan the nmp uses and whether it not it's even designed to run at such rpm for long periods of time

A fan will become noisy when it's at its end of life cycle. Mine are fanning around for over three years at max speed without any noise so far, so don't expect yours will die too soon

Use a headset while gaming and fans are spinning, lower the speed when done gaming?

I think AMDs latest high end cards are designed with 90 degrees in mind so I don't think its much of an issue.

This is what puts me off AMD GPUs, they run too hot but they are good value relative to nVidias offerings.
