Trying to figure out what would be the best price to sell it for. I listed it for $800, but someone is offering $750. It also has AppleCare until January 7, 2019. No scratches. Never used without a case. Comes with original accessories except the box.

its up to you, but personally I would have listed just the phone only with no cases or apple care +. Instead I would have sold each case separately and cancel the apple care + and get money back for whats remaining.

Apple Care kinda changes things but $750 for a preowned X is what I would consider the higher end of what you could get.

I think you can cancel or transfer your Apple Care to your new phone. When I use to buy Apple Care ( I haven't in a long time because I got a new phone every year) I cancelled mine and received a good refund.

I think I transfered Apple Care from my daughters phone to her new phone one year. You will have to see what the 2018 rule book says about Apple Care transfers/cancellations.

I believe it does not have applecare plus, as that's a 2 year plan and if it expires on jan of 2019, it's not possible since the X didn't come out until late 2017. The applecare you're referring to is the normal 1 year warranty?

I doubt the cases add that much actual value. $750 sounds decent, though. I recently sold my space gray 256GB X on Swappa for $800 (no cases).

Yes, thats what I actually meant.

Friend offered $850 for mine, no cases, mint condition and battery. Decided I am going to keep it.

I would not pay that for it. New phones are announced in 2 days... why gamble... as a buyer, I say "wait", as prices will plummet on the current crop of "used" devices... as a seller, get what you can when you can... the market is about to be flooded.

Take it immediately. Sold my 256GB X earlier today for $675. Cases are pretty much worth $1 each, less if they've ever been used :)

I’d keep it... that’s a huge price hit on a year old device in mint condition. And the X is still going to be an awesome phone on 9/13. (But I’m planning on keeping my 7 another year, so what do I know...)

Not even a year old, actually. Think about those who upgraded in the spring/early summer. Now that’s a ridiculously high drop in value.

I’d say take the money. It will only get worse after 9/12. The resale value of the X seems to be pretty bad.

how does swappa work do you get paid through PayPal or something?

the majority of the public doesnt care about launch day phones. they don't care about the newest. If you can get a 1250$ phone for 800 a lot of people would take that even over a 900+ tax xs.
edit sorry sorry. 1050+ tax 256 gig xs...

Take the $750 and RUN! You won't see $750 in 2 weeks.
