Would it make sense to buy AirPods Max now if you were planning to buy Vision Pro?

I'd wait. We might end up seeing new Max by the end of this year.

Though to be honest, I'm not sure I'd want to wear APMs with the Vision Pro.

I'd say the chances are quite good for new APMs this year. All the new noise cancelling features Apple discussed at WWDC are not going to be supported on the current APMs. How long is Apple going to be comfortable with their most expensive and "best" headphones not supporting the latest and greatest features?

Agreed, and a 3 year refresh cycle on them feels about right.

Ok I think I will wait. I'm thinking after I've experienced AVP I might not want APM.

I can’t find the relation between these two products for this question. If you’re gonna listen music outside your house you need the Max, if you’re gonna listen only indoors, are you up to wear the Vision Pro just for music?

Here's the connection: I was wanting APM to listen to my music productions for critiquing and making changes via Logic Pro on my Mac. I'm thinking this can be done with AVP since Logic is Apple software and probably available in AVP through my Mac. If so, then the money spent on APM could go toward the bank-breaking cost of AVP.

VisionPro doesn't have real headphones built-in but rather tiny speakers positioned quite far from your ear. I don't expect the sound quality to suck, but it won't be on the same level as real headphones or earphones because of physics and anatomy.

Ok that makes sense.
