I have MacBook Pro 13-inch, Mid 2010 computer display. And I have MacBook Pro 13-inch Mid-unibody-2012 with working display but with cracked glass.

I have two questions:
  1. Are both of thes computer displays identical (same specification and fysical size)
  2. Is Mid 2010 computer display fully compatible with unibody-2012 so I can make display swap

They are not the same... or even close. You can replace the glass on the one with the cracked glass. It's not easy but its not horrible.

Really I thought they were exactly the same but the connector positioning might be different.

Try the iFixit website for all these sort of issues and guides on working on your mac.

They are not even remotely close to the same. I know what I am talking about.

I hate to correct someone who is so confident in their knowledge butI think you are wrong the whole assembly is different but the LCD display is the same so in theory it should just be a straight swap of screens..

That's not what he asked.

What I wanted to know was weather I can just take 2010 display assembly and assemble it with my 2012 macbook or can I at least take 2010 display assembly glass and make replace glass only. By wikipedia I knew that these two display assembles have web camera difference but what I failed to find out weather they have any other differences. The LCD in 2012 macbook is working, but glass is cracked.
